Tasting Notes
Bright, fresh, structured. This vineyard is composed of gravelly fine sandy loam with veins of pure sand creating a firm tannin structure. Hand harvested, de-stemmed and gently punched down during fermentation before aging in neutral french oak barrels 13 months. An exciting representation of the beauty of Ballard Canyon showcased through this 2017 Syrah.
